How do you relate to God in times of trouble? There are usually two types of reactions. The first is to become angry at God for letting such a bad thing happen to you or someone you love. The second is to trust God, seek His help and trust him to work it.

Some scripture to turn to in times of need.

(Heb 13:5 NIV)  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

(Heb 13:6 NIV)  So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

(Rom 8:28 NIV)  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

 No matter what we encounter in life, may we trust God to use it draw us closer to Him,
