In His Grace Community Church

We are told in God’s word that Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God. Today I would like to look at the human side of Jesus Christ’s life. Jesus lived a life just  like you and I. He had brothers and sisters, his Mother Mary did not remain a virgin as some have been taught. In God’s word we are told that Jesus had a least four brothers and at least two sisters or more. 

(Mat 13:54 NIV)  Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked.

(Mat 13:55 NIV)  “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?

(Mat 13:56 NIV)  Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”
Some have been told that these were his disciples. The bible tells us a different  story. We see that Jesus was with his Mother , his brothers and his disciples.

(John 2:12 NIV)  After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.

We need to read the bible, in it  we will find the truth.  Next week we will continue to look at the human side of Jesus life.
