4th December Pastors Post

December 20, 2010

In just a few days we will celebrate Christmas. Will this be a time of joy or a time of sadness for you? I hope it is a time of joy but I know that for many this will be a time of sadness. We all want to feel loved. It seems that at this time of year many will feel all alone and for many depression will set in. It is my hope that you will seek help not only physically but most of all  let God give  you spiritual help. We need to know without a doubt that God loves us and wants to fill us with his joy.  I hope that you know this scripture verse and believe it.

(John 3:16 NIV)  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(John 3:17 NIV)  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
I hope that you will allow God to give you joy through his Son Jesus Christ especially at this time of year.

(Gal 5:22 NIV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

(Gal 5:23 NIV)  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

(Gal 5:24 NIV)  Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

(Gal 5:25 NIV)  Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
If you need someone to talk with, call me,  810-325-1712 or better still, attend our Candle Light service at 7pm on Christmas Eve or our Sunday Service at 11 am.
Wishing you a very Blessed Christmas
