4th March Pastors Report
Today many have a hard time believing that Jesus Christ understands what we are going through, especially in times of trouble. Easter is a good time to look at what Christ went through because of the love that He and the Father has for us.
(Heb 2:9 NIV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
(Heb 2:10 NIV) In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
(Heb 2:11 NIV) Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
Jesus Christ experienced rejection by those He cared for, lies about what He was doing and the ultimate, and unjust death. He did that because He loves you and I.
Do you think that all He was willing to do for us deserves some kind of honor?
Great way to honor Jesus is to spend time with Him.
(Heb 10:25 NIV) Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
(Heb 10:26 NIV) If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,
This Easter season would be a great time to join us in honoring the one that loved us so much that He gave His life so that you and I could have eternal life.
