In His Grace Community Church

Today we honor those that have served our nation, served to keep us free. Some have paid the ultimate price, their very lives. We are told in God’s Word that here is no greater gift the a man or woman lay down their life for someone else.

(John 15:13 KJV)  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Through out history we have seen many men and women pay this ultimate price for our nation.  We should be so thankful for these men and women.
There is one that was willing to pay even a greater price. That price was paid for all human beings .
Jesus Christ was willing to suffer and die for all of us. As John 15:13 tells us. He was willing to give His life because Christ calls us His Friends.
The question we need to ask ourselves,” are we His Friend?” To become a Friend of Jesus Christ only requires us to ask Him to come into our lives.
As we celebrate this Memorial Day do you think that the greatest gift we could give the one who gave his life for you and I  would be to ask Him to come life His life in and through us?
