Prayer, does it work? Does God really hear our prayers and most of all does He act on them?  First of all we are told to pray.

(Mark 14:38 NIV)  Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
Watch and pray is good advice especially in this day and age.
We are also given an example prayer on the way to pray.

(Luke 11:2 NIV)  He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.

(Luke 11:3 NIV)  Give us each day our daily bread.

(Luke 11:4 NIV)  Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
God wants to hear our prayers and most of all He wants to answer them.

((1 Th 5:17 KJV)  Pray without ceasing. This should be the most important part of our prayer life. God wants to hear from us and we need to never give up on believing that God answers prayer.
