In this time in history, we are so blessed in this nation. God has given us so much. My question to you is what have you given God? What pleases your parents, isn’t it spending time with them? It is the same with our heavenly Father. The greatest gift you could give him isto spend time with him in prayer, bible study, and attending a worship service in your local area. Everything we have comes from God, isn’t it time to give something back to him? Spend some time with God and you will be better for it. Try it and I am sure you will like it.

God expressed his love toward us by what he was willing to do for us. To receive that love and make it part of your life, all God asked is that we allow Christ to begin to work with us.

(John 3:16 NIV) “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(John 3:17 NIV) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

(John 3:18 NIV) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

(John 3:19 NIV) This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

(John 3:20 NIV) Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

(John 3:21 NIV) But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

As we celebrate the 234th birthday of this great nation I ask you this question, “Has our nation strayed from the principles that it was founded on?” One of those principles was honoring God by setting time aside on Sunday to be with Him. Today it seems that we are to busy to spend time with God. Again it seems we use God as a spare tire, we contact Him only when there is a problem or crises in our lives. As we see the moral decay taking place in our nation and the whole world, we are warned to not forget to spend time with our God. May we heed that warning.

(Heb 10:25 NIV) Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

(Heb 10:26 NIV) If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

(Heb 10:27 NIV) but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

We will be celebrating the birth of our Nation this coming Sunday. Our Nation was founded on the belief that there is a God. Our leaders over the years have expressed that belief many times. It seems that we are now straying away from that belief. We are given many examples of what happens when we forget where our help comes from. This Sunday and throughout the rest of this year I ask you to pray for this Nation and its leaders.

(2 Chr 7:14 NIV) if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Do you need help in understanding how to live life? I think we all do. No one is perfect. We all can use help. God tells us that he wants to help us have a good life, but you and I have to allow him to work with us. Why not give God a chance to change you. It can’t hurt and it may be the greatest thing you have ever experienced.

(1 John 5:5 NIV) Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus came to bring peace to this world.

(Luke 2:14 NIV) “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests

How do you see God? Is he a God that you fear? An Angry God? A far off God or Is He a loving, caring God? Our image of God will have a lot to do with how close a relationship we have with him. It is sad to say but most people have an image of a harsh, uncaring God. Why do most have and image of a hash God? For the most part it is because it is what we have been told about God by those that are supposed to know him.

I hope through this website you will begin to see a different God. A God that loves you so much that He is always willing to forgive you when you make a mistake. All we have to do is ask for forgiveness.

(1 John 1:9 NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

(1 John 4:7 NIV) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

(1 John 4:8 NIV) Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
