Senior Pastor – Grant Forsyth

Grant was ordained as an Elder in November 2011 and is licensed through Grace Communion International. Grant has completed his biblical and ministerial courses through Ambassador College of Christian Ministry and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Christian Ministry. He is retired from his 35 years in the electric power industry and now works full time in ministry in the community.

He became Senior Pastor in May of 2012. Prior to that Jimmie Meade was Senior Pastor and began his role as Assistant Pastor to allow more time for travel in retirement.

Associate Pastor – David Borum

Pastor David hails from Track Town, USA (Eugene, Oregon). He has been serving full-time as our associate pastor since May of 2024. David received his B.A. degree in Missiology from Northwest University in 1994. At this time, he is well on his way to completing his Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies through Grace Communion Seminary.
David went through our denomination’s residency program back in 2017-2019. After completing his residency through the congregations in Eugene and Salem, Oregon, he was installed as the Lead Pastor of Grace Communion Northshore located in the Seattle, Washington area in 2020. He served that congregation from 2020-2024.
In David’s off-time he plays in the band, Pine Grove Collective and exploring all that Michigan has to offer.  He is a big fan of deviled eggs, the Portland Timbers and coffee that resembles road tar.

Children’s Church Director and Small Groups Coordinator – Kathy Forsyth

Kathy is a retired elementary school teacher who specialized in early elementary grades. Her teaching career has prepared her to reach our “Young Disciples” with the important lessons from God’s Word. Children’s Church takes place during the 10:00AM church service.

Kathy also coordinates our various small groups including women’s groups, Men’s group and bible/discipleship groups.

 

Assistant Pastor – Jim and Kim Meade

J&K2Jim and Kim are the former Senior Pastor. They began this charter of our church, serving in several communities within the Blue Water area. Jim and Kim moved the congregation to Kenockee in 2008 in our current location. They enjoy specializing in Church Life and Family Life responsibilities and have touched many lives in the years of their ministry.
